    Open Connections in Chatlog and choose Connect Notion.

    Connect ChatGPT in Chatlog and allow chatgpt.com access, then refresh its tab. With automatic saving enabled, new activity can be captured while Chrome is open. Chatlog finds the template database; you do not need a token or database ID.

What Notion receives

Each chat becomes a page with formatted messages, code blocks and tables. Your connection stays in this browser, and saved conversations go directly to api.notion.com. Chatlog's sign-in service handles authorization and token refresh, without receiving your chats.

Just one chat? Sync it yourself.

Open a conversation and choose Sync to Notion in the popup to save that chat manually. Automatic ChatGPT capture and Notion delivery have separate pause controls. Manual sync queues only the chosen chat; delivery may wait for Notion limits or a connection issue.

Markdown folder too?

Use Notion on its own, or add a Markdown folder for an extra copy. No folder is required for Notion-only setups. Binary attachments are not uploaded to Notion; the page keeps text and file references.

How does Notion work?

Choose Connect Notion, approve access in Notion and select the included AI Chat Log template. Chatlog finds the database automatically and keeps the connection in this browser. Each chat becomes a formatted page. You can use Notion without a folder. Conversations go directly from your browser to Notion; the sign-in service handles authorization and token refresh.

Can I send just one chat to Notion?

Yes. With Notion connected, open the chat and choose Sync to Notion in the popup. Chatlog archives it locally and queues that chat for Notion, even when automatic saving or automatic Notion delivery is paused. Other paused chats stay paused. Delivery can wait for Notion limits or connection issues; queued does not mean delivered.

What isn't saved?

ChatGPT memory and dedicated Canvas recovery are not supported. Claude artifact source is saved when available and enabled; full interactive previews are not preserved. Files need accessible download data or a matching file in an imported export. Missing content is marked in the saved note.

How does the free trial work?

14 days from install, no card. New chats save with no limit. Importing past chats is limited to 25 unique chats per supported provider. When the trial ends, automatic saving and bulk import pause. Everything saved stays, and you can still read, search and save single chats by hand.
